Tania Cardenas
Tania Lizbet Cardenas Rico is an Assistant Principal with Bentonville Public Schools, bringing over 12 years of experience in education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arkansas and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas Tech University. Originally from Mexico, Tania is deeply committed to creating inclusive, supportive school environments where all students feel seen and valued. As a proud mother of four and wife to Eric Cardenas, she understands the power of connection, compassion, and community in both education and life. Outside of school, Tania finds joy and strength through biking and is an active member of Latinas En Bici, a space where she has found the freedom and safety to fully embrace and express her authentic self.
