Her professional journey began at Tyson and quickly accelerated at Walmart headquarters, where she rose through the ranks over a decade. For the past 20 years, she has thrived in the supplier space, earning numerous industry awards and forging lasting partnerships with major domestic and international retailers. Today, she serves as a Senior Sales Account Manager, recognized for her strategic acumen and results-driven leadership. Sofia is also a dedicated entrepreneur and real estate investor, steadily growing her portfolio with the same grit and ambition that define every facet of her life. A single mother of two, she was also a caregiver to her elderly mother with dementia—an experience that further shaped her strength, compassion, and perspective. She is the co-founder and board president of Latinas en Bici, a nonprofit that mobilizes women through cycling, health, and community, and the co-host of Las Patronas, a podcast uplifting voices of Latina leadership, cultural pride, and perseverance.
