Abby Schoeppe
Abby brings her passion for youth development and community engagement to everything she does. A former teacher in Springdale and Rogers, she now serves as the Director of First Steps and the coordinator of Bucket List Summer at the Teen Action & Support Center. Originally from Michigan, Abby has called Northwest Arkansas home for the past 23 years. A proud mom of two and a dedicated foster for cats and kittens, Abby finds joy in helping both people and animals grow and thrive. This year marks her first as a coach with LatiNitas and her first experience coaching mountain biking — a sport she's grown to love after years of biking gravel. Abby has been inspired by the courage and determination of the girls she coached, watching them build skills and confidence each week. "That’s what I love about biking, whether the goal is big or small, achieving it makes you feel proud." She’s especially passionate about the mission of Latinas en Bici, where women empower each other through cycling. "No one supports women better than other women. Riding together builds a special bond — a community that lifts each other up and helps each person meet their goals on and off the bike." Abby is excited to continue coaching with LatiNitas and to be an active part of the Latinas en Bici family!
